Hearing pain: Veena Das from anthropology toward philosophy
Abstract: We show how the work of an anthropologist like Veena Das focused on the violence suffered by vulnerable beings brings a new understanding of mass crimes thanks to the concepts of philosophers such as Wittgenstein and Cavell, whose work she ‘germinates’.
